KCU (Kettering Community Unit)

Drop in centre for homeless people to have a hot meal, soup or toast, and to receive support from various appropriate agencies on their issues. We want to establish a place for people to go which is less intimidating than a council building so we can help people early enough before their situation worsens.

Legacy Supported Living

we are a service that supports and enables young adults with learning disabilities to be as independent as possible. We empower people to become active members of their community and be able to make informed choices in all aspects of their lives. We currently support people living in their homes and without purpose and meaningful activities people can become isolated and engage in more negative activities.  Setting up the Drop in service will enable peer support groups to take place, educational sessions on a range of subjects according to needs and will provide an environment where people can come and talk about a range of services and issues that will inform their lives.

Northamptonshire Chronic Pain Support

I support and empower anyone affected by Chronic pain, including carers, families and friends. I do this by holding support group meetings all over Northamptonshire. I would like a place where I can hold afternoons to help not only break the isolation of Chronic pain but also as I have Chronic pain myself, I can help to educate people, share experiences (with knowledge gained from my current support groups) and provide support for carers as well as the people who have Chronic pain.

Picture the Difference CIC

Our proposal is a joint venture with Town Centre Youth Partnership and Picture the Difference. We intend to set up a multi-arts hub which will give young people an opportunity to share their skills through running and experiencing a range of creative workshops: DJ-ing; music production; lyric-writing; graffiti art and mural skills; photography; film-making; 2D and 3D animation; painting & drawing.
